About us

We gathered from different parts of Maharashtra to save the environment, tree resources, wildlife, forts, ghats in the Sahyadri.

For the last few years, we have been organizing ‘Shiv Sahyadri Granthadindi’ for children living in remote areas of Sahyadri. Under this, the Marathi Desha Foundation has distributed libraries, school materials and clothes in more than 300 schools in remote areas.

The children living on the other side of the Sahyadri have innate intelligence but due to lack of resources, they are left behind academically. There are very few people who go sideways. We are a wandering congregation in Sahyadri.

We, through our co-operative society, carried out a massive relief campaign in the flood affected areas under the ‘One Hand for Flood Victims’ campaign. The organization distributed several tons of food grains, clothes and other necessities to the people of the flood-hit areas.

In order to preserve the history of Marathas along with social service, conservation work is being done on many forts in Maharashtra. The Sahyadri sons living in the valleys of Sahyadri are doing important work of saving the tree resources, wildlife, forts, ghats, etc. of Sahyadri. The debt of these congregations is on our Sahyadri. We cannot repay their debts but we can certainly shape the future of their next generation academically.

This phenomenon of Marathi country is only for Sahyadri and for the neglected Sahyadri sons in Sahyadri …..!
